Megan Parks
YW CARES Young Adult Victim Advocacy Program Coordinator at YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southeast Virginia

Megan Parks is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Social Work, and is a Nationally Credentialed Victim Advocate. She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Public Administration in order to continue serving her community through non-profit leadership and public policy. Megan has worked in the social service field for almost a decade from Probation and Parole, to Children Service’s, to Victim Advocacy. In 2018, she was given the opportunity to create the YW CARES Young Adult Victim Advocacy Program, and is honored to continue to oversee the program operations daily. She plans to utilize her education and experience in this field to provide the most supportive and empowering experience a survivor can receive. She believes she has been called to this field to listen to those who do not feel heard, to support those who feel hopeless, and to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
